Every year, millions of tons of plastic enter the oceans, of which the majority spills out from rivers. A portion of this plastic travels to ocean garbage patches, getting caught in a vortex of circulating currents. If no action is taken, the plastic will increasingly impact our ecosystems, health, and economies.

Mandela Children's Fund
The Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital Trust was established and tasked with raising R1 billion to bring the specialist paediatric hospital to life. Thanks to generous donors from around the world, we were able to begin construction on the 22 April 2014, the hospital launch took place on 2nd December 2016!
